Make up artist and Malay wedding

I've been here in Singapore for 5 years and have only attended Chinese wedding. So last year, I was invited to a Malay wedding and was really excited. I'm not going into details how it went- one thing is, I wasn't able to eat because it's all spicy food so I ate at McDonald's instead.

My Malay friend came back from her honeymoon, we talked about the wedding. The dress, make up, food, guests- what really caught my attention was her make up artist. I told her that I didn't like her make up because it's too thick and her fake eyelashes seemed so heavy, her hair extension sucked big time. Her hair is jet black and the extension was brown!!! She was really disappointed with her hair and make up. And was shocked to know that her make up artist asked her to lie down while applying make up! I was thinking, did she hire the right make up artist? I wanted so much to laugh but I couldn't. She had no idea why she was asked to lie down and somehow reassured me that her sister's make up artist 10 years ago did the same thing!!!
